The day will include free bus transportation to Pierre from both Sioux Falls and Rapid City. Each participant will receive a packet which includes talking points on the issues and tips on how to speak with your legislator. We will sit in on committee hearings, observe the Senate and House chambers in action and end the day with a legislative reception at View 34. Lunch will be provided for those who are interested in joining us. This year we are excited to have Democracy in Action host a panel of progressive women's voices during lunch.

Why: We want to show the South Dakota Legislature that we care about lawmaking in our state: laws which affect our lives, our bodies and our families.
