CSPAN covered a press conference featuring a several national and local leaders who are opposed to and actively supporting the fight against SD's latest attempt to ban abortion.   As dry as most press conferences can be, I found this one is extremely informative and engaging.

The conference features Casey Murschel, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota, Sarah Stoesz, President of Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota Action Fund as well as Cecile Richards, Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Michelle Turpiano, Campaign Manager for the South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families, Nancy Keenan, President of Naral Pro-Choice America, Anthony Romero, ACLU Executive Director, and Dr. Suzanne Poppema, Board Chair of Physicians for Reproductive Choice & Health.

Despite the fact that practically speaking, this ban is a South Dakota battle, it's clear that the extreme and dangerous nature of this ban is attracting a lot of national attention. Ultimately, the fact is that what happens to SD women, happens to us all
