36th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade a Powerful Reminder That The Struggle for Women’s Health and Safety Continues
(Sioux Falls) On the anniversary of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota (PPMNS) renewed it’s commitment to continue to protect women’s health, increase access to affordable health care and birth control and to work in coalition to improve preventative health care for South Dakotans.
PPMNS will also partner will NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota to present a showing of the documentary “Motherhood by Choice, Not Chance.”
The event will be held on January 22 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn City Centre, 100 W 8th St., in Sioux Falls.

“Strong family planning is good health care policy, good public policy and makes good sense from both a fiscal and a social perspective,” said Shannon Stevens, PPMNS Public Affairs Manager.
