US appeals court weighs "Choose Life" car plates
PHILADELPHIA -- State motor vehicle agencies across the country are raising money by allowing drivers to buy specialty license plates that recognize everything from military units and colleges to sports teams and nonprofit groups.But the effort is causing some legal headaches as well. Anti-abortion groups in several states are suing to demand plates bearing the message: "Choose Life."
